The re-focusing of our Transportation System to attain International benchmark is paramount in realisation of Nigeria’s goal of becoming one of the 20 most developed Nation by 2020 and Mr. President’s Seven Point Agenda. It has become paramount in view of the forgoing that our sustained policy reform is geared towards a thriving private sector investments in this all important sector.

-Narrow gauge(1067 mm) 3,505 km
-Sidings and -Loops 827km
-Standard Gauge (Ajaokuta – Warri )276km (90% completed)

Pursue matters relating to information and communication Technology in line with e-governance policy of government;
